Episode 91: Big boy time
"Camille might be in labor," Katie said.
"WHAT?" Carlos asked a little too loud, causing Lucy to stir.
"Shh! I'll text you when I know something," Katie said before leaving the room.
Carlos looked at James and Lucy, still asleep, curled up in each others arms. He smiled, getting up to use the bathroom when he noticed it; James had wet the bed again. He sighed, knowing how things were probably gonna end.
MEANWHILE DOWNSTAIRS IN MATERNITY......
"Hey how is she?" Katie asked once she saw Logan.
"They're not slowing down," He said, worry and exhaustion clear on his face. "This baby is gonna be a wild one." They arrived at the room Camille was in then. "Ladies first." Katie walked in, darting to her friend, gently hugging her.
"How are you Sissy?"
"Mmm, sleepy," Camille mused. "Junior here's getting a good work-out."
Katie laughed. "You always know how to make light of things," She giggled.
"Yup, hi doctor," Camille said.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Wright," The woman said. "So it seems that little baby of yours wants to get out here, huh?"
"Yep," Camille giggled.
"Alright we'll let's get this show on the road," Doc said. " I need to see where you are with labor, okay?"
"Okay," Camille said, gabbing both Logan and Katie's hands as the doctor did her work. She frowned when she was done.
"Well it's not a pretty picture," she said. "You're staying the night, and we're going to get you some medicine to try and stop labor, but first we need an ultrasound, okay?"
"O-okay," Camille said, looking up at Logan.
"It'll be okay," He whispered. "I promise, this baby is gonna be healthy, and he's gonna stay in there as long as he can." Katie smiled at the two of them, pain and jealousy mixed in with her happiness.
MEANWHILE BACK UPSTAIRS.....
Carlos was trying to figure out how to get things cleaned up without waking up Lucy, finally realizing there was no way to leave her out of it. He sighed, going over to them. "James? Lucy? guys wake up..."
