No real warnings here. Enjoy! :D

Episode 98: The shot of destiny.

(AN: Don't ask I don't know why I chose it either :P)

KATIE'S POV:

I swallowed my feelings as Camille and Logan fell asleep together, his arms holding her tightly. I ran upstairs and grabbed the first backpack I saw and stuffed as many pairs of pajamas in as I could. I then went to the bathroom and grabbed the comb. Oh how important that comb was. toothbrush, toothpaste... yep, that was everything.

I carried it all back downstairs when I heard Camille; "Logan, wake up I need you."

END KATIE'S POV AND MEANWHILE BACK AT THE HOSPITAL:

"I can't wait to get home and not have to eat hospital food," James mumbled as he began to slowly eat the waffles in front of him.

"Yep, back to toaster waffles and Katie's cooking," Carlos chuckled. "At least you're better, and now you know why you've been wetting the bed."

"Dude I'm eating, can you wait until AFTER to embarrass me with that please?" James asked, getting a nod.

"Wonder what's keeping Katie," Carlos mused, grabbing the bag of pretzel's out of his backpack.

"I dunno, I wish she'd come back," James said, looking up when the door opened, and smiling at who walked in.

"Who wants a smuggled breakfast?" Katie asked.

"I'd rather have pants," James said happily.

"How is it smuggled?" Carlos asked softly.

"The stupid security guard at the front door of the hospital wouldn't let me bring food up so I had to find a way to stuff it in the bag," Katie explained. "Oddly enough I was allowed to bring you your hazelnut latte without complaint."

"Gimme?" Carlos said, looking extremely adorable. Katie smiled and handed him the white cup and dug the egg biscuit out of the bag on her shoulder as well as her breakfast; oatmeal and a cinnamon latte.

"So what is there to do stuck in a hospital?" James asked as he finished a waffle.

"Video games, iphone games, I'm sure we can find SOMETHING to do," Katie mused as she ate. "And if nothing else I have my coloring book."

"You carry a coloring book with you?" James asked skeptically.

"And crayons," Katie answered. "It's great for when you're waiting somewhere and your phone is dead or you have to wait four to six hours. That got me through a LOOOOOT of stake-outs."

"Like what?" James asked.

"Blu-ray releases, meet and greets, casting calls with Camille," Katie shrugged. They finished eating in silence when the nurse came in.

"Hi, I'm Abel, I'm gonna show you how to check your blood sugar," she said kindly. She walked him through everything before leaving. "Oh, and your nurse will be in to change you shortly," she added, making James choke on the cup of water he was drinking.

"WHAT?!"
