Just to be clear: Kendall is planning to propose. The reason Carlos is getting the ring is because Kendall is in rehab. And it's okay to lie for the sake of two people getting engaged. :P Also James is having a hypoglycemic episode, in case anyone wonders what all of that's about. Episode 111: Shopping and shipping
"I'll show you," Carlos said, opening the car door for Katie. She smiled and got inside.
MEANWHILE ACROSS TOWN AT THE MALL....
"Now are you in a pull-up or boxers?" Lucy asked James.
"boxers," he answered casually. "why?"
"then you have to tell me when you need to go potty. I don't want you to have an accident."
"b-but Lucyyy!" James whined. "I-I can hand-"
"don't even try that James, you can't control it right now and we both know that," she said firmly.
James sighed and teared up. "I hate this," He whimpered.
Lucy rubbed his arm consolingly. "Shh, that's what Mommy is here for."
"B-but mommyyy! What if they see?" He cried, snuggling close to her.
"Shh, that's why you have to tell Mommy when you need to go potty angel," She cooed, running her fingers through his hair. "Shh. Mommy loves you. She'll protect you. I promise baby."
James looked up at her nervously. "You pwomise?" he asked, sucking his thumb again.
"I swear angel," she said with a smile. "Now let's go get you a binky!"
James nodded, shakily stepping out of the car and taking Lucy's hand.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Sleepy," He mumbled.
Lucy frowned. "Come on, let's go fix that," She said, leading him inside. James stumbled along, slightly dizzy from low blood sugar.
ALRIGHT WE'LL GET BACK TO THEM IN A MINUTE. WE HAVE SOMETHING A BIT MORE IMPORTANT HAPPENING ACROSS TOWN AT THE JEWELRY STORE.....
"Why are we at a jewelry store?" Katie asked Carlos.
"Well, can you keep a secret?" He asked happily.
"Yeah..." Katie said unsurely.
"Well, Logan has wanted to propose to Camille for a while now, but the baby... has sort of sped up his plans. And he noticed you and Camille have the same sized hands, so he wanted you to try it on first, to make sure it fits."
Katie smiled like an idiot before squealing. "Yes yes yes yes yes!!" She squeaked happily. "Wait, this isn't just because of the baby, is it?"
"Nope, he's wanted to do this for a while," Carlos said happily, getting out of the car. He breathed a sigh of relief she had bought that. "But you can't tell either of them you know, okay?"
Katie nodded, zipping her lips before taking hold of Carlos' hand. His heart hammered as they walked in. "Hey, why don't you go look at the charms?" He suggested, trying to keep composure. Katie nodded, skipping off.
"Can I help you?" A man with a british accent behind the counter asked.
"Yeah," Carlos said, looking at Katie longingly. "I need to get an engagement ring."
